Honesty note: we have not run our own hands-on test of Shape yet. Everything on this page is source-based research: the vendor's pricing, plan and help pages, each linked with the date we read it. Ease of use and support quality are not scored until we test.
Shape in short
Shape Software Inc. does not publish prices: you will need a sales call or demo to get a quote.
Choose it if
- Loan officers and lender teams that want CRM, dialer, texting, POS (1003 application, borrower portal) and landing pages in one mortgage-specific platform
- Shops using Encompass, LendingPad, LendingDox or Arive as LOS (vendor integration list)
Skip it if
- Buyers who need a published price to compare before a sales call: the pricing page has no dollar amounts
- Teams wanting predictable communications cost: calling/texting usage is metered from a prepaid balance unless you add the unlimited calling plan

Shape pros and cons
What holds up
- LOS integrations listed: Encompass, LendingPad, LendingDox, Arive; lead sources LendingTree, Zillow, Realtor.com, Free Rate Update[2]
- Native POS (1003 applications, document collection, borrower portal), dialer, SMS/MMS and landing pages in the same product[2]
- Complete tier includes 5 users and bundles AI Suite, Lead Engine, Shape Social, CustomUI, Customer Portal and Branching[1]
- TCPA/10DLC compliance tooling built in for texting[2]
- Referral Partner program with 90-day cookie and monthly payouts[6]
What to watch
- No dollar amounts on the vendor pricing page; quotes via demo or sales[1]
- Communications are pay-as-you-go from a preloaded balance, so calling/texting cost is on top of the platform fee unless unlimited calling is added[1]
- A 2026 guide notes no public pricing and a shorter mortgage-specific track record than older rivals[5]
- Third-party report: setup fees of $299 + $199 apply on month-to-month billing and are waived on annual billing; month-to-month list price $149/user vs $119/user annual (not vendor-confirmed)[4]
- Third-party report says AI call agent pricing is demo-gated[4]

Recent changes
- 2026-09 Pricing page now shows tiers Core / Complete / Enterprise with no prices; a September 2026 third-party review (pricing verified July 2026) names tiers Professional / Engage / Enterprise and quotes $119 (annual) and $149 (monthly) per user, so tier naming and prices may have changed[4]
The money trail
Shape Software Inc. runs an affiliate program. We are not an approved affiliate yet, so every link on this page goes straight to the vendor and earns us nothing. Either way, the score above is computed without this information.
What we could not verify
Listed so you know where to ask the vendor directly.
- Actual list price: vendor pricing page shows none; the vendor's own blog says '$119/mo per user' (2026-07, plan/billing basis unspecified); aitoolsbakery says $119 annual / $149 monthly but uses different tier names; a 2026 guide says 'no public pricing'
- Founding year conflicts: vendor About page says 'In business since 2009'; third-party databases say 2017. Left null
- Company size conflicts: vendor About page says ~100 to 150 employees and 100,000+ customers; third-party databases say 42 employees and about 78,000 users
- HQ Irvine, CA comes from HousingWire/third-party databases, not the vendor site
- Affiliate commission percentage not published on page read (third-party says up to 30%)
- Free trial/free version unclear (Software Advice claims one, vendor pages show demo/quote only)
- Custom objects, QuickBooks, Gmail sync and HIPAA/BAA not verified; a third-party review claims a 20 custom-field cap (unverified)
